            Bug ID: 171191
Summary: Writer crashes on pinyin input on while recording
                    tracked changes
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.1.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

When typing via IBus libpinyin when "Record tracked changes" is active, Writer
crashes more or less immediately. I could reproduce this both on new documents
and editing previously created docs.

Quickest way to reproduce:

* Start on fresh install (or factory reset) of LibreOffice
* Create a new Writer document
* Switch to libpinyin input mode. In Ubuntu system settings showing as "Chinese
(Intelligent Pinyin)"
* Enable "Record tracked changes"
* Type and commit some text, like "阿". Type text again like "阿". Writer would
crash immediately when typing the second text, before committing it in
pinyin/ibus input.

Reproduced on Ubuntu 24.04 and Ubuntu 26.10 hosts, both with flatpak from
flathub (app/org.libreoffice.LibreOffice/x86_64/stable) and deb packages from
libreoffice.org.

First seen on version 26.2.1.2 (X86_64). I'm regularly using the flatpak
version, so the bug must be fairly recent.

Versions 25.8.5 from libreoffice.org and Ubuntu packaged version
25.8.4-0ubuntu0.25.10.1 don't have this bug.
