            Bug ID: 171195
Summary: Libreoffice beachballs on window snap to screen edges
                    or corners on macOS Tahoe.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 3.3.0 release
          Hardware: Other
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
On macOS Tahoe, when a LibreOffice window is dragged to an edge or corner of
the screen to re-size and snap it there, LibreOffice beachballs and has to be
force-quilted. This occurs on Writer, Calc, and Impress.

I searched on snap, drag, re-size and Tahoe, and found no reports on this
problem.

This occurred on
26.2.1.2
Build

https://git.libreoffice.org/core/+/8399f6259d8c87f40e7255cdb3c9b958f5e08948%5E%21

and also on
26.2.0.3
Build

https://git.libreoffice.org/core/+/afbbd0df0edb6d40b450b0337ac646b0913a760c%5E%21

Hardware
M4 Pro Mac Mini
BenQ MA32OU 32” 4K monitor
Operating at 1600. X 900.
Apple Magic Mouse

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Drag a LibreOffice window to a screen edge or corner so the pointer touches
it.
This can be done with Windows for writer, Calc and Impress, and to any edge
(except bottom), or corner, so that the pointer moves all the way to the edge
or corner.

2.
3.

Actual Results:
Beach balling, and LibreOffice has to be force-quitted. Occasionally, the snap
works and there is no beachballing.

Expected Results:
Window re-sizes to 1/2 or 1/4-screen and snaps to edge or corner with no
beachballing.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
The releases for macOS were not in your drop-down so I just picked the
closest.mSee above for the two releases exhibiting the problem.
