This new currency symbol was introduced in February 2025 / September 2025 for

NOTE 1: There is a list of 8 rules listed on:
with the most important ones probably being:
- "ALWAYS ALIGN to the LEFT" of the numeric value in all languages.
- "Leave a space" between the symbol and numeric value.
--- "Maintain a clear space equivalent to one-third of the symbol’s height
around it."
- - -
NOTE 2: I suspect this will be similar to Bug #166187 , which introduced the
Manat ₼.
- - -
NOTE 3: Because this is a brand-new symbol, it may not exist in most fonts.
On my Windows 11 computer, it only exists in 1 font:
- Noto Naskh Arabic
