They are different, because the bug in Writer has damaged some text. The same edits were made to attachment #1 using Writer (in files 2a and 2b), and using Microsoft Word (in file 3). Writer tracks the changes incorrectly, damaging the file. See the two new screenshots of the third paragraph, showing the results of opening the file damaged by Writer when it was saved, vs. the correct/desired version saved in Word.
