"Deleting the sheet will destroy references"? So, you completely ignore comment
4.

You also ignore almost any warning about the dangerous behavior of taking any
of those paths you present in comment 14.

Errors in Calc are not just some random number that you come up with; each
error type has a certain meaning.

You keep talking about "solving UNDO" issues, as if it was some clear 100%
completely-known issue that you are fully aware of. It is not, by far.

Newbies will act on the mentioned checkbox without being fully aware of the
consequences. And, almost no user will know how to revert such setting for the
future (in order to avoid the mistake of skipping the simple question
"forever", even if this was for the specific file and not for every file).

Good luck to those that avoid the confirmation dialog and then accidentally
pressed a key (or click the mouse) that deletes the wrong worksheet.

This is one of those settings that should be buried within the expert settings
only, never to be explicitly exposed to common users.
