It is not a bug, rather a feature request.
In my writing tasks I frequently need the view pane of Style Inspector to be
frozen rather than be following the location of text insertion pointer.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Style Inspector
2. Unfold all branches of style hierarchy
3. Relocate text insertion marker to other paragraph
Actual Results:
Style Inspector always displays all the attributes of the styles (paragraph and
character) and any direct formatting present in the paragraph or word where the
cursor is located.
Expected Results:
User can enable freezing of style inspector view pane. When enabled the view
pane doesn't change its presentation when cursor gets placed in document's
other paragraph.
