            Bug ID: 172451
Summary: Impress: Slide Sorter and Slide Pane are not drawing
frames around Slides, making them harder to use.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.0.4 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Impress
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
UI.
Navigating in a presentation.
In Impresses Normal view, the Slides Pane on the left shows miniatures of all
slides, but it looks like one long strip of paper, without any vissible
separation between the single Slides. The same is true with the Slide Sorter
view, where one big sheet is shown. Only the current selected Slide has a
coloured frame.
When searching for a specific slide, this costs extra concentration.
In the past, as far as i remember, there was a visible background around the
miniatures in those views, and there were visible frames arround all Slides,
too.
I would like to have that back, may be configurable.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a presentation in Impress.
2. Look at Normal View's Slide Pane.
3. Switch to Slide Sorter.

Actual Results:
2. A long strip of paper without separation of Slides.
3. No separation between shown Slides.

Expected Results:
Present clearly distinguishable Slides to choose one.

Reproducible: Always
