On a small screen (e. g. my laptop) having comments on the side (only) either
limits me to low zoom (and thus makes the document hard to read), or makes the
comments scroll horizontally off the visible area, out of sight.
This is sub-optimal (to minimize).
Please let me see the location of the comment, and view it by a click on the
marker. The popup should be editable as well, and be a way to enter a new
comment.
This should be programmatically rather easy (in fact, I'm pretty sure it was
the original OpenOffice behavior) and will help us non-gigantic-monitor users.
If this is impossible, moving comments to a resizable bottom panel (not side)
would let me view the text at readable size and full width and still see the
comments. It would, in my opinion, be less desirable, though.
