            Bug ID: 172483
Summary: Calc freezes (SPWOD) when I try to edit the "Numbers"
format section of a Style definition.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I have a Calc workbook that has developed a repeatable freezing scenario. I'm
convinced it is a prefs or settings corruption issue that I can't figure out
how to purge.

I am using Conditional Formatting to give certain cells individual
characteristics, which are controlled by a user created "Style" definition. The
Style is being added to the cell by the CF correctly, and I can subsequently
adjust borders and colours etc, but whenever I try to edit the "Numbers" format
of the Style (eg: change to 2 decimal places. See my attached video file), I
get a "freeze" of Calc, with a Mac Spinning Pizza Wheel of Death, and despite
waiting hours for it to clear, this situation means a forced quit of LO is the
only escape option. I've tried resetting my profile to no avail.

I also tried importing one sheet and the Styles from the master into a fresh
Calc document, and it appears that the problem is not being carried over in
that scenario, yet the master original workbook stubbornly refuses to allow me
to edit the Cell Format "Numbers" via the Style definition editing window.

A fellow user on the LO Forum confirms the same behaviour on his system. I have
no idea what system he's running, but I have the same problem on both my Mac
X86 and Apple Silicon machines.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open ODS attached here "CT-Misbehaving Workbook (Broken Style Editing 1)"
2. Open Style editor
3. Locate Style named "A Min Profit Highlight 1" or "A Max Profit Highlight 1"
4. Try to change the Numbers format to anything other than the current
settings, then click OK and you should get an infinite SPWOD.
5. Another user on the LO forum has confirmed the same behaviour on his system.

Actual Results:
Upon confirming with OK, Calc throws a SPWOD on Mac. Force quit is the only
escape.

Expected Results:
Confirmation and exit of edit mode.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes
