Description:
Writer was constanly freezing and crashing. I tried to find a cause, and found
that Skia might be the problem. However, Writer can not be configured to use
for instance hardware acceleration, Skia is mandatory on Windows so it seems.
It also seems that Skia is renewed with Chrome updates, great. But then I read
that Libreoffice is using Skia on top of Vulkan, so I checked Vulkan. I
installed the latest version of Vulkan, and it went from version 309 to version
341. I have the impression that Writer is much faster now, and doesn't freeze
or crash anymore. So, somehow you have to make clear to the users that Vulkan
should be updated as well, or it should be in the Libreoffice update packages.
