            Bug ID: 172579
Summary: Make use of the "icon-name" property for
GtkToolButtons instead of assigning icons based on the
                    UNO command
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.4.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
At the moment the icons for buttons are set based on the UNO command. I think
it would be a good idea to adapt the property "icon-name" for GtkToolButtons.
This has two advantages to the current implementation.

Firstly, the the icons could be displayed in RAD tools, such as Glade or
Cambalache, assuming the property and custom icon themes are supported. This
would essentially make it so that the preview of such tools resembles the end
product more closely.

Secondly, I think it would give us a chance to simplify the icon themes by
using generic icon names and removing duplicate icons. This should, in theory,
make it easier to create and modify icon themes.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open an UI file in a RAD software such as Cambalache

Actual Results:
The RAD software does not display the icons which will later be displayed in
the compiled version.

Expected Results:
The RAD software does display the icons which will later be displayed in the
compiled version.

Reproducible: Always
