Bug ID: 172656
Summary: Hatching patterns in inserted SVG image render as
solid black
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.2.4.2 release
Hardware: ARM
OS: macOS (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
If I insert an SVG image that contains hatching patterns into a Writer
document, the polygons filled with the hatching pattern are filled with a solid
colour (in my case black).
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the attached `bug-svg-hatching-pattern-rendered-as-black.odt` in
LibreOffice on macOS.
2. You will see that some polygons are filled with solid black colour.
3. Export the document to PDF.
4. Open the PDF document in Preview.app. The hatching pattern is correctly
shown in the PDF. It also correctly prints to paper.
Actual Results:
See the screenshot
`bug-svg-hatching-pattern-rendered-as-black-macos-screenshot.jpg`.
Expected Results:
Polygons with hatching patterns should render correctly on macOS, as they do on
Linux (tested on Debian 13 ARM64 with LibreOffice 25.2.3.2.
Reproducible: Always
