            Bug ID: 172705
Summary: Cell padding is reset when inserting new rows into
Writer tables; Undo does not restore padding
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.8.0.0 alpha0+ master
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
When custom cell padding is applied to a Writer table, inserting a new row
causes the newly inserted row to use zero padding instead of the existing
padding.

Additionally, Undo does not restore the original padding after undoing the row
insertion.
Paragraph formatting (font color, alignment) is preserved correctly, but cell
padding is not.

IMPORTANTLY: Not reproducible in - 26.2.4.2 (Flatpak)

Steps to Reproduce:
Open Writer.
Insert a new table (using the default table style).
Select the entire table.
Open Table → Properties.
Change cell padding from 0.00 to 0.07" (or another non-zero value).
Click OK.
Place the cursor in the last cell.
Press Tab to create a new row.

(Also reproducible using Table → Insert → Rows Below.) Again: Not reproducible:
- 26.2.4.2 (Flatpak)

Actual Results:
The new row has cell padding reset to 0.00.
Existing table formatting is affected.
Undoing the row insertion does not restore the previous padding.

Expected Results:
New rows should inherit the existing cell padding (the same value user chose).

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
After adding a new row, Font changes are retained, as desired and expected. But
not table cell changes.
