IDK why people think that spreadsheets can be used with no additional learning. If a user knows how to write, then Writer can be used, that's it. Anything else in Writer is optional. That's not the case with Calc. Users don't even RTFM, wiki pages, or perform a simple web search. No amount of tool tips will solve this. At some point, users of spreadsheet tools need to learn how to use them.
