In case it is not clear yet, the #REF! error is the correct behavior. The incorrect behavior would be to have some kind of formula magically showing up after a hard recalculation. If some algorithm was introduced in the code at some point that achieves to reinstate the assumed reference, that would be news to me, and I have no idea on what the possible assumption / guess would be based. I would suggest testing in LO Safe Mode. Thomas, the version info you posted shows that you are using OpenCL. In addition to testing in LO Safe Mode, you might want to test what happens when disabling OpenCL (needs restart of LO) and retesting without it.
