Description:
When using writer (or presentation), I need to press random buttons such as
ctrl or alt+T to activate/update the view to respond. This bug is also
occurring with pop up menus where the space below it is blank white similar to
the menu. Note that this bug does not occur in the starter menu where the
document type is selected and recent documents are viewed.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just click on the menu bars for me, nothing special

Actual Results:
I am unable to see the tools I want to use (for instance the export to pdf
button is hidden in the menu)
Expected Results:
Shown all the available options to use
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
I tried updating the software and that didn't even work
