Bug ID: 172891
Summary: WRITER - cell background colour of table is not copied
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.2.4.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
When you copy a selected cell in a table from one cell to another, the text is
copied, but the background is not.
The same also applies to cell borders
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create table in writer
2. Add text and background colour to a cell
3. Mark the entire cell, copy it and paste it into another fully selected cell
Actual Results:
If you follow the steps to reproduce the bug, only the text is copied but *not*
the colour.
Expected Results:
When I select the entire cell, I would expect the copy&paste operation to work
like under Calc and paste the _exact_ settings of the/all cell(s)
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
