I tried to test some thing in order to understand better your bug report. First, you mentioned in the version, the 3.3 version. You choose this version if you tested that version. Otherwise, you need to insert there the version that you feel is the first one is affecting you, or the one that you have installed. In order to see what version do you have go to Help - About LibreOffice and click on the copy icon, and paste the info here, in the bug report page. Now, about your bug, I tested 2 cases: - I select some words, so, the words are automatically inserted into the find bar. - the case you mentioned, copy something, paste something, now open find, and find should be empty. It is empty in my version. i use the latest version 26.2.5.1 just released last week. So, I see some things for you to do: - come back with some feedback about your version - if you want install a new fresh version, and if you want reset the user profile to be sure it is a perfect fresh install, not a version affected by some old profiles (see here for more info <https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile>) - if I tested the bug wrong, please explain it more clear And again, thanks for reporting. Version: 26.2.5.1 (X86_64) Build ID: 997786b8bfe5fadf793c1218fed3f515ec806f1b CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 7.0; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
