The first group of "space-character" lines have each line ending in a carriage-return/line-feed character, displaying them without justification. The second (duplicate) group of "space-character" lines have each line ending in a "new line" character, which forces each line to be justified. Of all of the different sizes and types of spaces, only ordinary breaking spaces (entered with a single tap of the Spacebar) end up being stretched under justification.
