--- Comment #9 from H. Iat <[email protected]> --- Two issues have now been resolved, at least for me: 1) The usual download page for the German-language version of LibreOffice (“https://de.libreoffice.org/download/download/”) has been offering the latest version, 26.2.5.2, since yesterday. (This version is exactly the same as the one that was already available for download last week via “https://www.libreoffice.org/download/”.) Okay, problem solved. 2.) Last week, after the update, LibreOffice displayed two different version numbers in the “Über LibreOffice” (= “About LibreOffice”) window (see the description and screenshot above from 2026-07-27). After thoroughly uninstalling the entire LibreOffice package (using Revo Uninstaller) and then reinstalling the current version 26.2.5.2, the info window also displayed the correct version number 26.2.5.2 (see the current screenshot). The build numbers are identical in both cases. The update was attempted using the same MSI file as the subsequent reinstallation. Conclusion: There is likely still a bug in the update routine. It does not consistently update the version number in all required locations. The missing icons on the “https://de.libreoffice.org/download/download/” download page for the German-language version of LibreOffice remain an issue. See the current screenshot (from 2026-08-05). It shows only the text placeholder “LibreOffice logo”. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
