Description:
open a blank spreadsheet.
Select a row or a column or both.
Select view menu > Freeze rows and columns

back into the menu this item is not 'ticked'

Select a row by number, and do the same via its context menu for freeze row,
the same ineffect is witnessed

I consider this normal severity because spreadsheets are near to impossible to
use without making mistakes if you can freeze a row or a column. Its REALLY
important if getting your figures and reports right is.
Getting the maths right is why computers were invented, never mind spreadsheets
specifically.

Steps to Reproduce:
open a blank spreadsheet.
Select a row or a column or both.
Select view menu > Freeze rows and columns
The menu dissappears/closes, but the rows/columns are not frozen, and if you go
back into the menu this item is not 'ticked'

Select a row by number, and do the same via its context menu for freeze row,
the same ineffect is witnessed

Actual Results:
the rows/columns are not frozen, and if you go back into the menu this item is
not 'ticked'

Expected Results:
the rows/columns are frozen, and if you go back into the menu this item
is'ticked'

Reproducible: Always
