Bug ID: 173067
Summary: Color palette for background and border appears beyond
screen area - unable to modify
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.2.5.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Base
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
When trying to edit a forms element, e.g. its text box frame color or
background color, the color palett will be opened below the selection item,
which may then appear further down even outside of the monitor hard to be
reaching colors further down.
As a workaround, I reduced the properties pop-up window, moved it all the way
up to the top of the screen, then scrolled down to the section where I will be
able to modify background or border colors. This way the palette will be fully
visible editable
Steps to Reproduce:
1.create a base
2.insert some fields with text boxes and/ord numerical attributes
3.try to modify their frame color or background color with the properties
pop-up
4. it may be difficult to reach colors further down in the palette if pop up
frame is to tall and being placed at lower part of monitor
Actual Results:
cannot reach the full color palette with mouse for background and frame colors
of text items in a form, unless I decreased the size of the properties pop-up
window and had it moved up to the top of the screen and resized it, to be able
to scroll to the section where background and frame colors are available to be
modified. this way colors can be altered
Expected Results:
cannot reach the full color palette with mouse for background and frame colors
of text items in a form, unless I decreased the size of the properties pop-up
window and had it moved up to the top of the screen and resized it, to be able
to scroll to the section where background and frame colors are available to be
modified. this way colors can be altered
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:

of text items in a form, unless I decreased the size of the properties pop-up
window and had it moved up to the top of the screen and resized it, to be able
