            Bug ID: 173093
Summary: [PERF] Opening/closing multiple DOCX documents with
                    embedded fonts causes severe lag
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.5.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
When multiple DOCX documents containing embedded fonts are opened
simultaneously in LibreOffice Writer, some documents trigger severe performance
degradation (freezing/unresponsiveness for several seconds) during both opening
and closing operations.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open LibreOffice Writer.
2. Open Document A (a DOCX file that contains embedded fonts).
3. While Document A remains open, open Document B (another DOCX file that also
contains embedded fonts, or even a plain DOCX without embedded fonts).
4. Observe the lag/freeze during Document B's opening process.
5. Close Document B and observe the lag during closing.

Actual Results:
- Opening or closing the "problematic" document takes 5-10 seconds of
unresponsiveness.
- The lag only occurs when at least one other document is already open. If the
problematic document is the only one open, it opens/closes smoothly.
- Not all DOCX files with embedded fonts trigger this issue. Some are affected,
others are not.
- Once the embedded fonts are removed from the problematic document (File ->
Properties -> Font -> uncheck "Embed fonts in the document"), the lag
disappears completely. The document then opens and closes instantly even
alongside other open documents.

Expected Results:
All DOCX documents, regardless of embedded font status, should open and close
smoothly without freezing, even when multiple documents are open
simultaneously.

Reproducible: Always

Additional Info:
System font count is not the cause (minimal fonts installed, no custom fonts
added).
