            Bug ID: 173157
Summary: LibreOffice Calc EDITING: Pasting an array/Vlookup
formula targeting a whole column over a large range
                    hangs and crashes
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.5.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
LibreOffice Calc EDITING: Pasting an array/Vlookup formula targeting a whole
column over a large range hangs and crashes.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a formula in a cell targeting a whole column for a match. Vlookup or
TextJoin Array = formula for example.
2.Copy and paste the formula over a large range, a whole column for example.

Actual Results:
3.The cursor turns to loading icon and freezes, loads CPU 100%(or a single core
100% if multithreading calculations turned off) and hangs
4.Either wait or click somewhere in the program and the spreadsheet disappears
5.Terminate the program manually as it's still loading the CPU in the
background and not even crashing properly

Expected Results:
Just copy the formula and not hang.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Sometimes it might paste the formula without issues but it will inevitably
crash if trying to save the file.

Happens in 25.8.7.3, happens in 26.2.5.
Happens in safe mode too.
Happens on two different computers: 24.04 Ubuntu LTS(gnome) laptop and
CachyOS(Cosmic) desktop.
Multithreaded and singlethreaded calculation both hang.
