It took me some time to track this disappearing scrollbar button to
*Settings|LibreOffice|Appearance|Enable application theming*.
My system is set to a light theme. In LibreOffice settings any of the theme
choices (Automatic, Light, Dark, LibreOffice) result in a scrollbar button that
is very close to invisible unless the mouse cursor is over it.
This seems like a completely unnecessary bit of discrimination against anyone
with exceptional eyesight and shouldn’t be the default at all.
Making an interface element, whose position is inherently unpredictable, only
fully visible when your mouse is over it seems like an insane choice tbh.
Maybe this happens everywhere; I don’t know. For me it happens in (Manjaro)
Linux with Cinnamon desktop (overlay scrollbars switched off).
