In running text that includes the trailing space. In case of a table, I cannot confirm the issue. My scenario is "Lorem Ipsum" in A1:D4 - after pressing Ctrl+Del twice my cursor remains in the now empty cell. The next call within the empty cell forwards the cursor to the next cell. Looks all good and reasonable to me.
