Including against cell values in a Table in Writer. But against Calc's 'Value' text (not Formula or comment) of a Calc cell, selecting 'Regular expressions' is supposed to pass the find string. So, IIUC entering the find string "ja(?i)" (no quotes) in the Find field should find it in the B3 cell. Or "ao(?i)" should match in the B5, and B8 cell. But not sure if it is only with a REGEX= or MATCH= function wizard call, or with the defaults for the Find field with 'Regular expressions' checked enabled.
