Hello, I just tried it. The crash still occurs and I managed to narrow it down:
* Typing starting with '~','`','^','¨ '(pt_BR accents) doesn't crash, just '´'
(acute accent).
* If you begin typing after pressing enter or double clicking the cell, it
doesn't crash. But if you type having the cell just selected, not in "input"
mode, it crashes.
* My locale is pt-BR, but I use en-US for LibreOffice's UI. It does still crash
with pt-BR UI.

Environment:
  Version: 26.2.6.3 (X86_64)
  Build ID: 620(Build:3)
  CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 6.8; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
  Locale: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); UI: en-US
  Ubuntu package version: 4:26.2.6.3-0ubuntu0.22.04.1~lo1
  Calc: threaded
