Pierre Fortin <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Severity|normal |enhancement --- Comment #3 from Pierre Fortin <[email protected]> --- Not if the Text toolbar is not selected; only the Drawing toolbar disappears. I can enter text; but the Drawing toolbar has to be restored by menu actions, or by clicking outside the object -- not obvious when this interrupts the creative flow. My point is that the user's choice of toolbars should be respected. Removing any is confusing (changing UI) and wastes time until the user eventually figures out how to get it back. View>Toolbars>whatever is not View>Toolbars>whatever_temporarily which requires an extra action to restore. Curious to see if other tools likewise disappeared, I enabled View>Toolbars>3D Objects; but when I added a cube into a complex 22 page document (multiple DXF image objects on each page) and double-clicked on the cube, draw crashed with no usable information. Not reproducible. Changing this to an enhancement request: please respect user's choice of which Toolbars are selected; don't randomly hide/show them. Changing of the UI is both confusing and requiring extra steps to get them back -- usually non-intuitively. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
