            Bug ID: 173852
Summary: Use "CJK" instead of "Asian" consistently
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.8.0.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: UI
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
The Chinese, Japanese and Korean languages are usually collectively referred to
in computing as "CJK". LO recently adopted this nomenclature in "CJK manuscript
grid", for example. However, in most places in LO these languages are still
referred to as "Asian", which is kind of misleading, as Asia is a
linguistically diverse place with many of its languages falling under the
"Complex text layout" (CTL) rubric in LO.

If we more or less have consensus that "CJK" is the correct term to use, let's
replace all occurrences of "Asian" with it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Strings with "Asian":

vs. strings with "CJK":
https://translations.documentfoundation.org/search/libo_ui-master/-/en/?q=CJK&sort_by=component%2C-priority&checksum=

Actual Results:
Both terms "Asian" and "CJK" are used to refer to Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Expected Results:
Consistent and informative terminology is used.

Reproducible: Always
