--- Comment #10 from Shai Berger <[email protected]> ---
Hi,

I can confirm and add important details.

Version: 26.8.1.1 (X86_64)
Build ID: 680(Build:1)
CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 7.2; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-IL (en_IL.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Debian package version: 4:26.8.1.1-3+b1
Calc: threaded

(This was actually in a Plasma desktop, but I had the Libreoffice-KDE
integration package removed because of reasons.)

I also had this related to switching layouts -- I only have two layouts; but my
keyboard setting, which stayed this way from many years ago, is defined to
light the scroll-lock led when the secondary layout is selected.

If I'm right, this is closely related to
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=172550 which reports
similar behavior starting at more-or-less random, with "unprovoked" activation
of LED_SCROLL.

So my guess is: Something in the gtk3 layer mistakenly interprets the
scroll-lock *led* state as the scroll-lock state.

FWIW, I just added back the libreoffice-kf6 package, and the problem went away.
That is, it doesn't exist with:

Debian package version: 4:26.8.1.1-3+b1
Calc: threaded
