            Bug ID: 174305
Summary: resizing an image inside a shape
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.6.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
"I am requesting a feature to allow manual image resizing within shapes using
mouse drag controls. Adjusting the image directly on the canvas would provide
real-time visual feedback, making it much easier to find the right fit than
using a dimension table.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right-click the shape and select Area... (or go to Format > Object and Shape
> Area on the menu bar).
2. Click on the Area tab, then select Bitmap.
3. Under Options, you have to use the Size / Position table to adjust the image

Actual Results:
To edit the size of the image, I have to use the fill mode and enter the new
image size that would be appropriate. But it's impossible to know the right
size mentally.

Expected Results:
To be able to change the image size inside the shape and to make it have the
appropriate size and doing so by using the mouse dragging.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
It's not a bug but an enhancement proposition.I described it above.
