I'll review and post any comments when I get to install 4.1.3, and I'll give a couple of them a whirl in place of my more pedestrian processing. I was quite lucky with this change in that I had determined a while ago that all functions to do with setting/reading form control values (and default values) should take place in a dedicated set of 4 subroutines.
