    Classification: Unclassified

          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED

Problem description:
Novell Client 4.91 SP5 for Windows, version 4.91.5.20080922, Windows XP SP3.

If I turn on computer and login using Novell credentials (local adminitrator
rights) it is impossible to complete LibreOffice installation.
If I turn on computer and login using local computer credentials (local
administrator rights) installation goes smooth. Launching the software
everything works perfectly.
If I turn on computer and login using Novell credentials (local adminitrator
rights), after a succesfull installation (as above) it's impossibile to launch
and use LibreOffice.
If I turn on computer and login using local computer credentials (local
administrator rights), after a succesfull installation (as above), LibreOffice
works perfectly,
but if I use the red "N" in the tray area to do a Novell login to gain access
to net shares (a second stage login, not during boot)
LibreOffice stops working with the same errors/messages as in the case of a
login to novell during boot.

Same behaviour with OpenOffice, LibreOffice and Libre Office Novell Edition.
Same behaviour in a Windows 7 SP1 with Novell Client 2 SP1 (IR7)
Same behaviour on other corporate pc (Windows XP).

Error messages (screenshots available):
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library - Runtime Error! - Program:
C:\Programmi\_Novell-LibreOffice 3.4\program\unopkg.bin -
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unsual way. -
Please contact the application's support team for more information. - OK"

"LibreOffice 3.4 - Fatal Error - Impossibile avviare l'applicazione. - Si รจ
verificato un errore generale di accesso alla configurazione centrale. - OK"
[more or less it says "Can't start program. - General access error to central
configuration]

I've tried other (older) versions: same problems.
Very old OpenOffice (before LibreOffice fork) worked (can't say wich was tha
last working version).
Now I'm using the latest Goo-OpenOffice Portable edition. Same problems with
Windows 7 (... different client Novell, version 2 for Vista and 7)
Further findings:
If I open the word (or the excell document) from within a mail (using Groupwise
email client, version 7.0.3), while being connected through Novell client,
everithing works. If I drag'n'drop the document out from tha mail to the
desktop and double click it, again LibreOffice doesn't work as described
before.

I posted on Novell forums but nobody answered. I posted on italian Libreoffice
forum, but nobody gave right advice.

Steps to reproduce:
see first lines of above problem decription.

Current behavior:
Installation fails or if installed start up fails

Expected behavior:
Should work!

Platform (if different from the browser):
Windows 7 and Windows XP SP3.
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:9.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0
