Y <libreoffic...@sfina.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEEDINFO |UNCONFIRMED Ever confirmed|1 |0 --- Comment #2 from Y <libreoffic...@sfina.com> --- Hi Cor, Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I tried Paste special. It gives me two options, Unformatted text and Formatted text [RTF]. Unformatted text works, but do not even think to suggest this as a workaround. It is what I am trying to use in production, but it is *very* easy to press just CTRL+V instead of CTRL+SHIFT+V and select Unformatted text, and once CTRL+V is clicked, it is too late and all what is in the document after the insertion point is doomed. Hence this bug is IMHO critical. It might be the same as bug 69384, but: - 69384 does not mention the loss of the rest of the document content after the insertion - 69384 says it is fixed at v4.0.6. I am using v4.1.2.3 in Ubuntu Saucy. Like bug 69384, if I paste the whole frame with CTRL+V (or choose Paste special Impress 8), the frame paste correctly from Impress to Writer. When I then double click into the frame, selecte the text, copy it, and paste it into another area of the document, it works as intended, but this is a very time consuming and painful workaround that should not be. Is there a simple way to configure the preference order for the paste operation so that I do not have to use Paste special (and the extra click) all the time? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
