It's actually very interesting to activate it and then toogle spellcheck on/off. You then realise that the cursor is not at falt. It's the text width that changes. spellchecked text is sometimes displayed wider, sometime denser. Will try to upload a screen grab. Seems to be the spell checking affecting the display layout, but not the cursor. Any clue ?
