I very much agree to taking Impress in this direction. Being able to provide
custom animation which would tie an entire presentation together is very
aesthetic, and Prezi currently dires a great job with this.
If there is ability to create "zoom areas" within slides, I think this could
solve the basic function. But ultimately a higher-level control to give
navigation to the whole presentation would be the way to go.
Is there possibility of utilizing some opensource libraries (OpenShot, MLT,
etc.) which could provide code to be brought in for this purpose?
