I'm using the official LO distributive from
http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/

Yes, I'm on i686 (16 gigs with PAE) with proprietary 331.20 NVIDIA drivers. I'm
thinking of giving nouveau a try. I see no reason in using 64bit when Linux can
handle up to 64GB of RAM in the i686 mode (and 64bit has its disadvantages -
oftentimes I have to run i686 only proprietary applications and don't really
like the idea of loading the same libraries twice - I have a usual quite slow
HDD).

Currently I have no ability to test this issue in a 64bit distribution (besides
I'm almost sure it won't change anything) - I'll do it later.
