--- Comment #10 from Artem S. Tashkinov <t.ar...@mailcity.com> --- (In reply to comment #9) > Smooth scrolling for me with LO 4.1.4.0.0+ on Ubuntu 13.10 x86-64 > > @Artem: is it a choice to have a 32 bits distribution instead of a 64 bits > one ? > Did you build LibreOffice yourself? > > Best regards. JBF I'm using the official LO distributive from http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/ Yes, I'm on i686 (16 gigs with PAE) with proprietary 331.20 NVIDIA drivers. I'm thinking of giving nouveau a try. I see no reason in using 64bit when Linux can handle up to 64GB of RAM in the i686 mode (and 64bit has its disadvantages - oftentimes I have to run i686 only proprietary applications and don't really like the idea of loading the same libraries twice - I have a usual quite slow HDD). Currently I have no ability to test this issue in a 64bit distribution (besides I'm almost sure it won't change anything) - I'll do it later. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
