rainyda...@gmail.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED Resolution|INVALID |--- --- Comment #3 from rainyda...@gmail.com --- Reopening this bug as I am running into the same issue as the original reporter. **Bug Description** In LibreOffice Impress, there should be a custom animation under the Emphasis category for Grow/Shrink. Others have confirmed that this feature does exist in Impress. If you import a PowerPoint project that uses this feature, it works correctly in Impress (see OpenOffice Forum and Launchpad links below). **Related Background Information** It was "reported" and confirmed back in 2006. I say "reported" because searching various bug trackers and discussion leads me to this OpenOffice discussion being the first (and only) reported incident back in 2006: http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=33998 The first real bug report was in Launchpad in 2010 on the Ubuntu bug tracker for both OpenOffice and LibreOffice Impress as it effects both projects: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/651511 This bug report references that discussion and I believe whoever reported this bug also is referencing that forum discussion (but without providing a link). No fix was ever implemented by Ubuntu because it was deemed something that it should be fixed upstream. Also, since no new packages from OpenOffice/LibreOffice were going into the reported version of Ubuntu, the bug was closed as Won't Fix. Searching on the OpenOffice bug tracker, the closest thing I found was this report about Grow/Shrink in the Draw application: https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=82717 There does not appear to be any report of this bug in the OpenOffice tracker for Impress. Searching on the LibreOffice bug tracker obviously led me to this being the only reported incident of the bug. **Updated Information / Confirmation** I've tested that this option is missing on both: * Windows 7 x86_64 - LibreOffice Impress version 4.1.3.2 * ArchLinux x86_64 - LibreOffice Impress version 4.1.3.2 If needed, I can test this on other platforms as well but the bug seems straightforward. If needed, I can get a PowerPoint file with the animation to test in Impress when I go to work on Monday. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
