I *ass*u*me*d that if the first row was a header then if I select, in my case, C3:C23 and perform the sort then the blank space in C3 will be the header and the rest of the list is sorted properly. *****BBBBZZZZZZTTTTTT****** WRONG. So, I have data in C4:C23, Select C3:C23 and sort asending. It moves the blank space in C3 to the BOTTOM of the sorted data implying that the cell with data is less than the blank cell! WTF? I am going to assume that there's more to this than meets the eye so I'm going to go under the assumption that something else might be happening in addition to the (seemingly) random choice for header row. Now, in a twist that surprises me, *this* time when I tried to sort, choosing "Sort" from the menu (instead of the menubar button) I *am* given the choice to turn off the header row and it does sort correctly. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
