          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 74547
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: SUMPRODUCT behaviour change between 4.1.5.2 and
                    4.2.0.4
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Mac OS X (All)
          Reporter: fdb...@neosheffield.co.uk
          Hardware: Other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.2.0.4 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

The behaviour of SUMPRODUCT() differs between 4.1.5.2 and 4.2.0.4

When the following formula is entered into cell A1 of a new, blank spreadsheet:

=SUMPRODUCT($B$1:$B$10,$C$1:$C$10="")

The following results are obtained:

4.1.5.2: 0
4.2.0.4: 10

The right hand argument ($C$1:$C$10="") should be true (=1) across the range of
empty cells in column C, and previously an empty cell (column B) has always
evaluated to "0" in this context, so each pair of column B and column C cells
should evaluate to 0*1 = 0, not 1.

(This formula has been simplified from one in actual use in a much larger
spreadsheet)
