Priority: medium Bug ID: 75154 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Wrong positioning of text alongside text boxes (MS-Word .DOC) Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Windows (All) Reporter: postmas...@mlrennes.org Hardware: Other Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.2.0.4 release Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice Created attachment 94279 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=94279&action=edit .DOC example mentioned Popular use of "text boxes" and empirical manipulations to position text in MS-Word lead to a "satisfactory" but inconsistent document LibreOffice displays differently. I have only access to the final DOCs. Isolated in this example is the apparent use of a "text box" from someone who aligned text to the right of it through trial and error. The horizontal "ruler" seems to have been used and displays incoherent(?) values in both software. Text position in MS-Word 2003 is correct from the user perspective (see btb_word2003.png). LibreOffice 4.2.0.4 displays this text at a different position (see btb_LibO40204.png). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
