Hi mariosv,

you are right, not only the whole table is selected, actually the whole
document.

However, by pressing Crtl-A once, only the content of the cell in which the
cursor is placed should be selected. Pressing Crtl-A once again shortly after
the frist Crtl-A should then select the whole table (not the whole document).

Crtl-A in odt-documents has this special (and for me very useful) behavior
within tables. This worked fine in former releases.

This behavior is described far down on the page
https://help.libreoffice.org/Writer/Shortcut_Keys_for_Writer

Below the headline "Shortcut Keys for Tables in LibreOffice Writer" it is
written:

"Ctrl+A - If the active cell is empty: selects the whole table. Otherwise:
selects the contents of the active cell. Pressing again selects the entire
table."

I hope, I was able to give the further information that seemed to be needed
according to the status "needinfo".
