4.2.3: gif adds fine, then only displays the first image, wait, wait some more,
then gif is played animated just fine.
latest nightly: gif plays instantly.
test case attached.
Tor, what do you think? WORKSFORME? Did you try with latest nightly? Please
re-open if you disagree and add more detail.
