Libre Office Base
There was a large update this evening ( Apr 22/14 Linux Mint16 Petra) and now
‘Create Reports in Design View’ does nothing and the wizard method goes through
the motions then hangs up and LO Base crashes when one tries to exit create
report gracefully. Running existing reports hangs and it will also crash LO
Base if one tries to exit gracefully. It does not exit Report functions, design
or run, gracefully at all. It crashes badly and requires going through recovery
process when trying to re-launch LO Base. Haven’t tried writer or calc to see
if they are affected also.
FYI and attention if anyone cares. It was working fine, then updated and
restarted PC and now lots of trbls.
Because of PC restart after update all the scrollback buffer data of the
changes made was lost.
