These are stroke attributes of the Cairo LINE_JOIN_MITER--they are not a bug, just a limit of the vector description of the stroke and fill that makes up each path. I think the issues Kohei was referring to was with bug 75260 fixing double line borders in calc (cells) and writer (tables and paragraph border). That issue remains open. And beleive Kohei will revisit the single line paragraph borders.
