Kevin Suo <suokunl...@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC| |suokunl...@gmail.com Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #2 from Kevin Suo <suokunl...@gmail.com> --- Confirmed with libreoffice 3.6.7, 4.2.5.2 and 4.3.0.2, ubuntu 14.04 x86. There is a serious lag/delay when scrolling near the charts. The lag may be because Calc is trying to refresh the chart when scrolling. I agree with Andrey that Calc should do sth to optimize the performance regarding charts. When the cell data are not changed, or the user did not change the chart layout, the chart will always remain the same, so there is no need to refresh/update the chart when scrolling or switching bewteen sheets. Only when the cell values are changed or the user change the chart layout, shall the chart be updated. (Maybe a cached image file can be used? As you can see if you insert an image in a spreadsheet, you can scroll very fast) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
