Hi Idwal,
>From your screenshot, i can see that you are having libreoffice running in book
view. To solve this issue, look in your status bar near the zoom scroll. You
will see three icons to the right of the minus sign (zoom out). You have the
right most icon selected, simply click the left most one, the one that looks
like a single page, and that will solve the issue.
