Priority: medium Bug ID: 82448 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: EDITING: Suggestion of a new type of object, between text and spreadsheet. Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: yves.tourn...@gmail.com Hardware: Other Whiteboard: BSA Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.4.0.0.alpha0+ Master Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice I often have a series of text documents, such as letters, congress notes (usually with few illustrations), etc. I wish to bind into a unique one. I am dreaming of a kind of "booklet document" with an easy way to jump from one text to another, with a system of tabs in the bottom like in a spreadsheet. We can also imagine a conversion between this kind of document and a big text divided into chapters. This new object would allow compressing data, by decreasing the number of sparse files, and facilitate ordering office documentation and teaching documents. Would other users share this need ? It'd be a unique feature in LibreOffice I enjoy much. It seems to me that it should require a mix of tools already existing for text and for spreadsheet. Operating System: All Version: 4.4.0.0.alpha0+ Master -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
