When you ungroup them in the presentation, you can see the pictures of the people again in the presentation mode too. I'll attach the .odp version of the initial attachment; it would be great if you can bibisect when that become broken - as you can see, even the .odp version has the same behavior - shows fine in the edit mode, but not in the presentation mode...
